Essex, Connecticut
The quiet village of Essex, complete with maple-lined streets, antique shops and 18th century homes, was chosen as the “Best Small Towns in America” in 1996 – since then it has changed very little. Consequently, it is a favorite location to retreat from the hustle and bustle of big city commotion. Come spend a day, a weekend, a week, or whatever you can carve out of your calendar and see what its serenity and charm have to offer.
